The restaurant chain will be marking National Fried Chicken Day on Sunday, July 6 by handing out free Chicken Shack sandwiches every Sunday in the month of July.
According to a press release obtained by PEOPLE, Shake Shack will be giving free Chicken Shacks to customers who place an order of at least $10.
To obtain the free sandwich, customers will need to use the promo code “CHICKENSUNDAY” through either the Shack App, shakeshack.com, or in-Shack at the kiosk from July 6 and the following Sundays until July 27th.
“Shake Shack is bringing back a fan-favorite deal. Starting this Sunday on National Fried Chicken Day (7/6), guests can get a FREE Chicken Shack with any $10 purchase using promo code CHICKENSUNDAY via the Shack App, online at shakeshack.com, or in-Shack at the kiosk. Shake Shack is offering its Chicken Sunday deal every Sunday for a limited time,” the statement issued to PEOPLE read.

According to the release, the Chicken Shack sandwich consists of antibiotic-free chicken breast that is always served fresh.

According to the terms and conditions, the deal is not valid via drive-thru or third-party delivery apps.
“Offer excludes Smoky Classic BBQ Chicken, Carolina BBQ Chicken with Fried Pickles, Avocado Bacon Chicken, and Chicken Bites,” per the terms and conditions. “Limited to one use per order. Offer excludes all paid add-ons such as avocado and bacon.”
The treat day comes after Shake Shack marked national National Hamburger Month by giving out free burgers on orders that cost $10 or more.
Sunday, June 1 was the last day of the offer, with customers using the promo code of “BURGERMONTH.”
