Travis Kelce is flipping to page one of his love story with Taylor Swift.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 35, recalled how he “fell in love” with the pop superstar, 35, when looking back on the start of their whirlwind relationship during an interview with GQ published on Tuesday, Aug. 12.
“Nothing I’ve ever done has been a controlled, organized process. When I say it was so organic, we fell in love just based off the people we were sitting in a room together with,” Kelce told the outlet of his early connection with Swift.
The NFL star cited their similar personalities as the primary reason their relationship kicked off, said it’s grown stronger in the two years that followed since they confirmed their romance in October 2023.
“We are two fun-loving people who have the morals to appreciate everyone for who they are,” he said of himself and Swift, adding, “We share all those values. It kind of just took the fuck off.”
Kelce and Swift first sparked dating rumors in September 2023 after the singer attended several of the athlete’s NFL games. The pair later confirmed their romance in October 2023 when they stepped out holding hands at a Saturday Night Live afterparty.
Since then, the Ohio native has spoken about Swift in a number of interviews (and Swift seemingly sings about Kelce on her album The Tortured Poets Department). They’ve also stepped out alongside each other at various events, including the US Open and Coachella.
In June 2025, the power couple made their red carpet debut at the NFL player’s Tight End University, a three-day summer training camp in Nashville.
Two months later, the 14-time Grammy winner was announced as an anticipated guest on Kelce’s podcast, New Heights, which he cohosts with his brother, Jason Kelce.
Soon after the announcement of her upcoming appearance on the brothers’ show, Swift revealed the title of her upcoming 12th studio album – The Life of a Showgirl — on a teaser for the podcast, which was shared on Instagram at 12:12 a.m. E.T. on Tuesday.
“Can I show you something?” Swift said in the snippet shared on Instagram.
Jason, 37, replied, “Okay. What do we got? We got a briefcase? Mint green, with T.S. on it.” Swift then chimed in, “Yup.”
“What’s in it?” Jason asked, his eyes widening in surprise.
“This is my brand new album, The Life of a Showgirl,” Swift revealed.

“TS 12!” Travis then cheered. The cover remained obscured in the video clip, and her website now displays a mysterious orange and green blurred album cover, alongside options to purchase vinyl, cassette and CD versions of the upcoming release.
The CD edition will come with a poster. The track list for the album has not yet been revealed.
