Vote counting is still underway, but Mark Cuban, a key campaign surrogate for Vice President Kamala Harris, has called the race for her opponent, former President Donald Trump.
“You won fair and square,” Cuban wrote on X on Wednesday morning. “Congrats to @elonmusk as well. #Godspeed.”

Cuban initially endorsed President Joe Biden’s reelection campaign. He shifted his support to Harris after she became the Democratic nominee.
The “Shark Tank” star has been busy campaigning for Harris, appearing at rallies in swing states like Arizona, Michigan, and Wisconsin.
Cuban isn’t the only one who believes that Trump is headed for the White House again.
In an X post on Wednesday, Elon Musk, one of Trump’s most vocal supporters, said the former president had been given a “crystal clear mandate for change.”

At the time of Cuban’s post, Trump was clearly favored to take the White House, with two key swing state victories and leads in other battleground states.
Cedric Richmond, the Harris-Walz campaign’s co-chair, said at about 1 a.m. ET that Harris would not address her supporters at Howard University on Tuesday night. Richmond said Harris will make her remarks at Howard University on Wednesday morning instead.
“We still have votes to count. We still have states that have not been called yet. We will continue overnight to fight to make sure that every vote is counted, that every voice has spoken,” Richmond said.
Representatives for Cuban and the Harris campaign did not immediately respond to requests for comment from Business Insider.
