After Lady Gaga brought down the house at “SNL50: The Homecoming Concert” in NYC, we hear that the “Bad Romance” singer stole the show at the downtown after-party.
Spies said Gaga attended “SNL” creator Lorne Michaels’ private bash following the starry Radio City Music Hall concert wearing the same dramatic black headdress and gown she wore on stage to play “Shallow” from her hit 2018 film “A Star Is Born.”
Page Six sources saw Gaga hobnobbing at the “SNL” party at the yet-to-officially open San Vicente West Village, with her fiancé Michael Polansky, till 3a.m. — when she added some sunglasses to her look as she exited into the night, spies told Page Six.
The pop star was also spotted during the bash chatting with stars including Arcade Fire frontman Win Butler, and hanging with various comics throughout the night including Keegan-Michael Key and Ray Romano.
Spies told Page Six that “SNL” guru Michaels was seen holding court at a corner table at the celebration with his co-producer for the concert, Mark Ronson, plus rotating well-wishers including Pearl Jam rocker Eddie Vedder and Ronson’s mom, Ann Dexter-Jones.
Cher attended with her boyfriend, Alexander “AE” Edwards, after she’d stunned the crowd in a sheer outfit to sing her 1989 hit “If I Could Turn Back Time” at Radio City Music Hall.
Also spotted at the star-studded after-party were stars including Kevin Costner, David Byrne, Dave Grohl, Anya Taylor-Joy, Adam Sandler, Judd Apatow, Miles Teller, Jon Hamm, Jim Gaffigan, Gayle King, Peyton Manning, Jason Momoa in a black derby hat, and St. Vincent — who, like Gaga, arrived in the same outfit she’d worn earlier on stage.
Hollywood execs at the party included Universal Pictures boss Donna Langley and CAA honcho Bryan Lourd.
Earlier at the concert, stars schmoozing in the Radio City lobby between breaks included Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick, Jason Sudeikis, Pete Davidson and Woody Harrelson.
Other stars and Hollywood bigwigs at the “SNL” jam also included Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, Jerry Seinfeld, Seth Rogen, Chris Pine, J.J. Abrams, Edward Norton, Paul Rudd, Emily Ratajkowski, Billy Crystal, Alec Baldwin and Brendan Fraser.
The concert’s after-party also served as a de facto debut for San Vicente West Village — the highly anticipated NYC outpost of LA’s most exclusive members club, San Vicente Bungalows.
We previously reported that the West Village club, at the site of the former Jane Hotel, will officially open in early March, after hosting the bash for “SNL.”
Owner Jeff Klein, who was seen presiding over the “SNL” party, spies said, and he’d worked with London’s hottest decorator Rose Uniacke on the club’s luxe interiors.
His San Vicente Bungalows opened in 2018 in West Hollywood, and a second club, San Vicente Santa Monica, recently opened on the beach.
The club is known for its high-profile clientele, and a strict no photos policy to protect members’ anonymity.
It’s also the entertainment biz’s fave watering hole, and the original regularly hosts bold-face names like Leo DiCaprio, Jennifer Aniston, Miley Cyrus, Justin and Hailey Bieber, Steven Spielberg, Jennifer Lopez, Sydney Sweeney, Zoe Kravitz, Jon Hamm, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, and more.
