Saquon Barkley — who was traded from the New York Giants to the Philadelphia Eagles last year —celebrated his 2025 Super Bowl victory in his old stomping grounds of New York City.
The running back and his offensive line dined at Midtown celebrity hotspot Fresco by Scotto Tuesday night after taping a segment of “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” at Rockefeller Center, an insider exclusively told Page Six.
We hear Barkley arrived at the Italian eatery before his teammates and spent some time “reminiscing” with the establishment’s owner, Rosanna Scotto, about dining there when he was still with the Giants.
“All of a sudden, the dining room was filled with Super Bowl champions,” the source said, adding, “They were all super nice, greeted other guests and took pictures.”
We hear the teammates ate the trattoria’s famous meatballs — as well as a selection of pizzas, artichoke salad and a meat and cheese antipasto — and that wine and cocktails were “flowing throughout the night.”
“Barkley was enjoying rigatoni bolognese with his wife, while the other guys were eating steaks, fish and a variety of pastas,” the source said.
We’re told Barkley picked up the bill and left a “very generous tip.”
“The staff thought they also won the Super Bowl,” the insider joked of the hefty gratuity.
Barkley is clearly feeling nostalgia for his former team despite just winning the NFL championship game with the Eagles. The Philly team crushed the Kansas City Chiefs during Super Bowl LIX, 40-22.
The athlete celebrated his win, as well as his 28th birthday, with ex-teammates Odell Beckham Jr. and Sterling Shepard at a star-studded party at St. Pizza in New Orleans Sunday,
Also there was Eagles center Landon Dickerson and wide receiver Jahan Dotson as well as Leonardo DiCaprio, Chance The Rapper, Pete Davidson, Miles Teller and Zac Efron.
Last March, Barkley signed a three-year, $37.75 million contract with the birds after six seasons with the Giants. There seems to be no hard feelings, however, as Barkley revealed members of his former organization reached out to him over his Super Bowl win — which fell on the same day as his birthday.
“They’re the people that brought me in. After the game, so many guys and people from that organization reached out to me and were super happy,” he told Fallon Tuesday.
“For my birthday and [to] see me hold that Lombardi Trophy up because they know the hard work that I put in,” he added.
